(Pacific Coast News)more pics Jessica Alba (Pacific Coast News) Jessica Alba stepped out for a night of fashion and glamour at the Oprah hosted event "An Evening with Ralph Lauren." Alba joined celebs ranging from Jerry Seinfeld to Uma Thurman and Naomi Watts to celebrate the decades of style pioneering by the legend Ralph Lauren.

Alba hit the red carpet looking stunning after just delivering her second daughter last August. The actress donned a black maxi dress made of velvet and topped with shimmering red jewels and glittering silver, definitely a dress worthy of the occasion. The event was a benefit for the Ralph Lauren Center for Cacner Care and Prevention.

Alba has been taking things slowly since her pregnancy, appearing in only one film in 2011. Her next project is a voice acting role for Escape From Planet Earth, due out in early 2012.
