Jessica Alba: Five Television Roles We Would Love to See Her In
With "Spy Kids 4" set to release, and the birth of her second child "Haven Garner Warren," Hollywood hottie Jessica Alba is back in the public eye this summer. But aside from a lending her voice to the Animated film "Escape to Planet Earth (2012)," Alba does not have many acting projects in the works, which may allow the actress the freedom needed to indulge in a few television roles. Here then are five future roles we would love to see her in.
The Office - "The Temp"
No stranger to "The Office," Alba had a bit role in 2009 in the episode "Stress Relief." However, with Steve Carell now gone from the show, the new television season is wide open for more guest appearances like the one recently turned in by actor Will Ferrell. What role would be right for Alba? How about a scheming temp brought in when Ellie goes on vacation? Alba's character can team up with Dwight Shrute to try and take over the branch.
Glee ! - "Cafet eria Worker"
Though Kevin Reilly, programming chief for "Glee," told Entertainment Weekly (August 19, 2011) that the show will be making less use of guest stars this year, it would be great to see Alba on the show. Her character? How about that of a hot cafeteria worker. What's that? There is no such thing? Well, doesn't this show cut against stereotypes all the time, then why not Alba as a cafeteria worker. The angle being that she is going to law school at night, and she took the job just to be with closer to the daughter she had as a teen.
Dark Angel - "The TV movie"
Plenty of past television shows have followed up successful runs with a movie or two, so why not "Dark Angel" the show which first put Alba on the map. The time is right then for a re-visit to post pulse Seattle, to see just what became of Max Guevara and her gang of misfits. The movie could give the show its much needed closure.
Falling Skies - "Love Interest"
Those fans following Steven Spielberg's foray into television should know that this new show has one glaring weakness, and that is the lack of chemistry between Noah Wyle's character and Moon Bloodgood's c! haracter . In other word's, Wyle's Tom Mason needs a love interest to spice things up, and a rival of sort for Bloodgood's bland character. So why not Alba? She could play a mother who's desperately seeking her abducted children. Alba can tap into her newly acquired maternal instincts to play the role.
Charlie's Angels - "Sexy Competition"
Now that Charlie's Angel's is about to receive a television re-boot, it's time to start casting a sexy villain or two for ABC's new show. So why not have Alba play against her usual good girl character and have her play a vixen from a competing detective agency? One who is willing to bend rules that Charlie's beloved Angels won't. The role could be a reoccurring one, making Alba the Angel's arc nemesis.Note: This was written by a Yahoo! contributor. Join the Yahoo!
