Jessica Alba does autumnal chic in patterned maxi and cardigan as she enjoys a family day out in New York

Being based in Los Angeles, Jessica Alba can usually be found enjoying the sunshine in pretty dresses and shorts.
So whenever she travels to New York, Jessica takes the opportunity explore different looks for the different seasons.
The 30-year-old actress was spotted embracing autumnal chic in a pretty patterned maxi dress, a knitted cardigan and boots as she enjoyed a family day out in Central Park yesterday.

Spy Kids 4 actress Jessica beamed as she pushed her three-year-old daughter Honor on the swings as her husband Cash Warren looked on.
The pair then switched roles so Jessica could have a sit down as Cash took time to push his little girl.
Honor looked adorable in a striped jumper, jeans and boots as she raced around the park with producer Cash watching warily as she chased the pigeons.

In a recent interview, Jessica explained that she would never let Honor choose what she wants to wear because the little girl is such a fan of dressing up.
She said: 'She'll say she wants to wear this or that but if I let her dress herself head to toe she'd have a rag on her hair for her "fake hair" like Rapunzel, a princess, cowgirl, fairy or Hogwarts costume on, tutu and two different plastic high heels on!
'I tell her I'm the boss and when she's the boss and an adult she can make all those decisions and wear whatever she wants.

'In the house she dresses however she wants but we don't go out like that.'
Jessica and Cash welcomed their second child together, daughter Haven in August.
And while her newest child has only just arrived, the Fantastic Four star has made it clear that more children might be coming shortly.
'All I ever wanted was to have a big family. There's probably a fantasy in there for Cash to have a boy who he can rough house with and play sports with because Honor is so girlie. Maybe Haven will be a little tomboy,' she has said.
