Jessica Alba and Other Actresses in Spy Comedies

Jessica Alba tries to save the world as a secret agent in "Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World," a family-friendly film that packs a punch with plenty of action and laughs. It even throws in a few smells -- it's being shown in Aroma-Scope. However, since Jessica recently welcomed her second child, she probably didn't test out the dirty diaper scent on the movie's scratch-and-sniff card. Anyway, in honor of Jessica's entrance into the spy movie world, here's a look back at a few other actresses who have starred in spy comedies:

Anne Hathaway in "Get Smart"

She played the straight woman to Steve Carell's bumbling character in this spy comedy, and it's very evident that Agent 99 is very dedicated to her craft -- she underwent plastic surgery to end up looking like adorable, unassuming Anne. Perhaps all the tough training the actress went through to get ready for "Get Smart" is helping her pull off playing Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises." Then again, Anne recently told Chelsea Handler that she worked out next to a pregnant Alba at the gym, and the expectant actress could do more pushups than her, bulging belly and all.

Julia Roberts in "Duplicity"

Anne's doppelganger starred as the perfect corporate spy in this romantic comedy -- with her sweet, innocent look, Julia could get any man to spill their secrets. However, her secret agent already pulled the wool over the eyes of Clive Owen's spy once and has ! a hard t ime winning his trust again (but take a guess how it ends).

Elizabeth Hurley in "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery"

Elizabeth got the pleasure of starring in one of the funniest spy movie spoofs, playing a sexy, super-serious secret agent that falls for Austin Powers' swingin' sixties charm. Unfortunately the smart spy doesn't have to do much in the movie -- Austin destroys fembots with his sexy striptease, and it's not too hard to escape Dr. Evil's mutated sea bass (he really wanted sharks with frickin' laser beams on their heads).

Heather Graham in "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me"

Shagadelic sixties spy Felicity Shagwell is just the gal to help Austin get his mojo back. She's also very dedicated to her profession -- not many female spies could stomach a night with Fat Bastard.

Beyonce Knowles in "Austin Powers in Goldmember"

In the third Powers film, he's joined by Foxxy Cleopatra, a parody of seventies blaxploitation characters like Foxy Brown and Cleopatra Jones. With her sassy attitude and "Sha-Zam!" battle cry, Foxxy was one of Austin's toughest sidekicks. However, it remains to be seen if she will make an appearance in the fourth film or mysteriously disappear like Felicity.

Angelina Jolie in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith"

This spy comedy has Angie and Brad playing a bored married couple who are hiding their secret assassin identities from one another. But as funny as it is to see a husband and wife try to take each other's lives in an epic, house! -obliter ating battle after they find out the truth, it's doubtful that Jennifer Aniston found this spy comedy very amusing.

Nicollette Sheridan in "Spy Hard"

Nicollette's Agent 3.14 is a KGB agent with a terrible accent in this kooky Leslie Nielsen comedy. Agent WD-40 rescues her from a convent and dinosaurs, and she even gets to recreate the dance scene from "Pulp Fiction" in the silly James Bond spoof.

Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu in "Charlie's Angels"

These three babes really kick butt in the movie version of the classic TV series, but the most memorable scenes are Cameron dancing in her undies and Drew's character dating Tom Green (yuck!). Does anyone out there actually remember anything else from this movie?

So which funny spy babes are your faves? Sound off in the comments!
