Picture: Jessica Alba - Jessica Alba visits her office Los Angeles... Actress Jessica Alba was left horrified after taking her daughter Honor to watch her first kids' movie Escape From Planet Earth because the four year old couldn't tell the difference between live action and animation. The Sin City star voices villain Lena Thackleman, a scheming big-headed blue alien, in the animated adventure and she was excited to show her eldest child the finished product. She tells the New York Daily News, "Rarely do I get an opportunity to make a move that my kids can see. When it comes to me doing movies, she'll come on the set and pretty much think I sit in a trailer and get different hair and make-up done. She has no idea. So it's nice to show her this is what I do." However, Alba didn't quite expect the reaction she received: "She did ask me, though, after she saw it, 'Mummy, was it hot when you wore that mask?' Was it hot? I was like, 'Oh,...

Jessica Alba hates the gym

Jessica Alba hates working out and prefers dancing and running at home to keep her in shape The mother-of-two has revealed she can't stand the gym and much prefers dancing to really loud music to keep her trim figure toned. The 31-year-old 'Little Fockers' star told the March issue of Women's Health magazine: 'I like doing dance classes. That's fun. Like hip hop class, mixed with like core Pilates-type exercises. 'And sometimes I do sprint intervals just because I hate working out. Anything where I have to do something but I can get my mind off of doing it, that's so much better for me than anything that's repetitive. Or the music has to be loud and I have to be moving. 'So when I'm at home and I'm working out and I don't have a partner with me, I like to put bad television on. Usually a pretty embarrassing reality TV show and I do sprint intervals. So I'll sprint for a minute and walk for 30 seconds and do that on and off for 20-...

Jessica Alba: Cartoon star is so stylish

Jessica Alba's fashion inspiration comes from her idols, including "Daria, the cartoon character on TV". The actress, who is a style icon herself, discussed which female figures she admires the most. The mother-of-two joked that she spends so much time watching kids' TV that it influences her outfit choices. "I've always loved Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, because they're timeless and chic. And I love Kate Moss, because she's rock 'n' roll, and I'm a bit of a nerd about it," Jessica laughed to the US edition of Women's Health magazine. "Daria, the cartoon character on TV, is also one of my fashion icons." The actress has suffered a few wardrobe mishaps in the past, just like everyone else. Jessica shared one particularly gruesome ensemble she once rocked that still makes her cringe to this day. What do I regret wearing? Theres so many, I dont think I could choose just one, she admitted. I definitely rocked a Lycra unit...

Stylewatch Style News Now 02 / 04 / 2013 at 04:45 PM ET Courtesy Womens Health Its hard to believe that the star whose street style we most worship has ever made a wardrobe misstep. But rather than bury the evidence, Jessica Alba is sharing her biggest fashion fail with Womens Health (proof that stars are not like the rest of us; we may or may not have burned our sixth grade class photos). What do I regret wearing? Theres so many, I dont think I could choose just one, she admits. I definitely rocked a Lycra unitard-y thing One fluorescent color on one side, another fluorescent color on the other side with keyhole cutouts all the way up the body. I rocked it so hard with my Doc Martens. These days, the actress and Honest Company founder prefers colored denim and moto jackets to full-body neon Spandex. On her must-have list: a denim jacket, a sharp coat, a great pair of jeans, a fitted blazer, neutral t-shirts and an LBD. Check out an ab-baring exclusive photo from the Womens Healt...

04 February 2013 Jessica Alba at the Planet Earth premiere The stars lined up in Los Angeles as the first major animation film of the year celebrated its premiere at the weekend (February 2, 2013). Escape From Planet Earth has been produced by Rainmaker Entertainment - so far mainly famous in the film world for its rather dubious Barbie movies. However, this looks like a different story for Rainmaker, with an impressive cast including Brendan Fraser, Jessica Alba, Rob Corddry and Sarah Jessica Parker assembled to voiceover their tale of alien space combat. Rob Corddry [Leftand Jonathan Morgan Heit [Right] The film is scheduled to come out on Valentine's Day, February 14, but though there will undoubtedly be some romance in the film, it's very much about action, as Brendan Fraser's character Scorch Supernova finds himself relying on the help of his geeky brother Gary (Rob Corddry) to get him out of a tight jam against a hostile alien planet. A star-studded cast also includ...
