ACTRESS Jessica Alba took time out from being a mother to enjoy the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at the weekend.

The 31-year-old showed off her usual chic style as she partied at the Californian event with her husband Cash Warren and some female friends.
On Saturday afternoon, Alba perused the fields with her pals wearing a midi-length black skirt with a matching cardigan and boots.
The mother-of-two carried a multicoloured handbag and chatted away with her friends while the father of her children shared a joke with his mates.

Come Sunday, Alba was up for showing off a bit more flesh and was seen watching some of the bands while wearing a white vest and dark skinny jeans.
The 'Sin City' star kept her fans ! up to date with her antics at the festival by constantly tweeting photos of her and her friends.

Another Hollywood star who was spotted enjoying the festivities over the weekend was Gerard Butler.
The 43-year-old actor tried to go unnoticed by wearing a straw hat with a baggy checked shirt and khaki green shorts.
Butler was seen clutching a bottle of water and appeared to have caught the sun as he partied with his friends at the annual event.
