She's electric! Jessica Alba steps out in neon outfit and animal print

It's one of summer's biggest trends, and Jessica Alba isn't letting the neon fad go without getting her wear.

The actress stepped out again today in a blinding ensemble that included striped leopard print capris, an electric orange shirt, handbag and matching mirrored sunglasses.

Stopping at her office in Santa Monica, the 31-year-old seemed to have healed up after dropping a plate on her foot on Friday.

The Sin City star toned down the look slightly, pairing her bright pieces with a black blazer and kitten heels for a day of work at The Honest Company.

The actress co-founded the company, which specialises in eco-friendly, non-toxic baby, skin and home care essentials, in 2011.

But after suffering a home mishap last week, in which she smashed a plate on her ankle, it looked as though she was back on her feet with ease.

Jessica tweeted on Friday a picture of her swollen foot and leg as she got an X-ray at the doctor's office.

'Swollen ankle - a plate fell on my ankle last night... Hurts,' she wrote.

The pain seemed to have subsided within days, with Jessica going out in yet another colourful number by Monday.

Wearing mint jeans and candy pink flats, she showed off her love for all things bright.

And it's not the first time Jessica has displayed her penchant for Nineties fashion.

Earlier this month she decorated her feet in a pair of cork wedges with neon pink, yellow and neon green straps.

Jessica has also been seen before in the mirrored shades by STUNglasses - although her fashion sense doesn't seem to be breaking the bank. The bra! nd's tre ndy 'Flare' sunglasses retail for just $18.

The mother-of-two is meanwhile filming action exploitation film Machete Kills, a sequel to director Robert Rodriguez's 2010s cult favourite Machete.

Alba, who appeared in the first time, is reprising her role as U.S. immigration Agent Sartana Rivera.
