Jessica Alba and Rachel Bilson in Current/Elliott's star jeans

Since the brands inception in July 2008 American jean geniuses Current/Elliott have created more covetable designer It jeans in the past four years than you can shake a heavy duty zip at. And in the past week, weve noticed a strong development in the on-going craze for every incarnation of their Stiletto jean. This skinny but laid back style has been a popular one amongst A-listers and mere mortals for a long time now. You may remember last seasons leopard prints (originally in grey and tan) flew outta stores like wildfire and onto the celebrity legs of SJP, Katie Holmes, Carine Roitfeld and Emily Blunt. Then in order to sate the needs of the fashion hungry they arrived in alternative pastel colourways and a bolder neon spray-painted version. Next up for spring/summer12 was candy stripes, faded vintage florals and pretty smudgy polkadots. But its the capsule collection of stars (and stripes) thats proving to be the next big thing in denimsville...

In the past week or so weve been seeing stars wearing (Current/Elliotts) stars all over the place! Jessica Alba (who we know and trust as the instigator of 99% of all top jean trends) and Rachel Bilson have both sparked up a style storm in these Stilettos - with Jessica picking the 'Northern Star' grey wash and Rachel in 'White Stars'. And there's more... Whilst were crazy for this cut! , youll also find the stars and stripes collection includes lots more from denim jackets to flirty skirts. You can buy a selection of these pieces on Net-A-Porter right now, but we must warn you.... GET THEM BEFORE THEY GO!
