Jessica Alba teaches Honor importance of giving, she will receive award for being green

Busy mom Jessica Alba is raising her kids right by making sure they understand the importance of charity work and giving back.

PEOPLE reports that the actress and mommy of two said, I talk to Honor about not wasting and recycling. I talk to her about having so many things and that there are children out there who dont have what she has.

The mom also said that after her 4-year-old daughter gets tired of a toy, it goes to a baby who doesnt have it.

According to E! News, Alba is not only heavily involved in charity work but also lives an eco-friendly life. The actress will be honored at the Environmental Media Awards with the Green Parent Award for her partnership with the Safe Chemicals Act and her baby product line, The Honest Company, which offers affordable, green products.
