The Sin City star is a major campaigner for good causes, especially charities focusing on children and the environment.

She explained she is keen for her 4-year-old daughter to join in by handing out her old toys.

Speaking to People, she said: "I talk to Honor about not wasting and recycling.

"I talk to her about having so many things and that there are children out there who don't have what she has.

"So when she is done playing with something or outgrows something it goes to a baby who doesn't have it."

The actress will next appear on the big screen with Adam Scott and Amy Poehler in the comedy A.C.O.D., which is expected to open later this year.
