Jessica Alba: I love making lists

Jessica Alba has revealed keeping organised helps her to "stay sane".

The Sin City actress manages to fit her busy filming schedule and running her eco-friendly company around being mum to daughters Honor, four, and Haven, 13 months.

She told People: "I am really into schedules. It helps me stay sane. You will never be perfect so just trying to take it one day at a time, do as much as you can and live in the moment."

Jessica admitted her daughters don't seem keen to become actresses like their mum.

"Honor is just running her mouth about her observations on the world, and her desire to be a doctor mermaid," she said.

"I think Haven will be walking soon and every day she is saying a new word - right now it's hot."

Jessica - co-founder of green firm The Honest Company - said she is trying to pass on her values to her offspring.

"I talk to Honor about not wasting and recycling. I talk to her about having so many things and that there are children out there who don't have what she has," she added.

"So when she is done playing with something or outgrows something, it goes to a baby who doesn't have it."
