From the outside it may seem that Jessica Alba has it all, but the gorgeous actress insists her life has its challenges.

The mother of two says juggling work and motherhood isnt easy and she often feels guilty.

LA Confidential quoted Alba as saying: "It's not perfect. I'm constantly feeling I should be spending more time at home. I installed a kids' corner in the office, and the baby is really easy right now. But every day is evolving and changing. If I'm not going to be home all day, I know I'll be home at night."

But despite the balancing act, the 30-year-old wouldnt have it any other way, saying that being a mom to 4-year-old Honor and 6-month-old Haven Garner, brings an overflowing joy into her life.

I love everything about [being a parent]. I didnt even know it was possible to have this much love and joy and happiness in my life. Its overflowing, unconditional, and selfless. I never experienced that type of thing before I had kids, she told the magazine.

The brunette beauty also says motherhood has given her a confidence boost and shes secure with herself now than ever before.

LA Confidential quoted her as saying: Its been the most profound experience Ive had as a person and as a woman, says Alba. I feel like Ive finally come into my own and become the person I always should have been, or that I always [wanted to be]. I feel more grounded, free, and comfortable in my own skin than I ever have. The paradigm just shifted completely to my family.

Being a mom has even affected Albas sense of style, and has made her more courageous when it comes to fashion.

I have changed a lot. I didnt use to wear a lot of color. I guess Ive been more adventurous with my style and clothes choices since Ive become a mother. It doesnt feel as heavy or as bi! g of a d eal. Before, I was incredibly bashful and shy. When I was younger, I was really uncomfortable in dresses and high heels or anything like that. Over the years, Ive embraced a more feminine side.

Alba is married to directors assistant Cash Warren. The couple married in 2008.
