Jessica Alba Unveils New Blond Hairdo for Stripper Role in Sin City Sequel

Gorgeous Jessica Alba took a lighter approach to life by debuting a new blond 'do over the weekend.
And it was all in the name of work: The 31-year-old is currently prepping for her role as stripper Nancy Callahan in the highly anticipated sequel to 2005's Sin City.
It's not the first time the actress has rocked a lighter 'do for a role: She flashed fabulously blond locks for her roles in 2005's Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel.

So, do blondes really have more fun? Well, this one certainly is: She had blast tweeting about her transformation, filling everybody in on each stage of the process.
"Bye Bye Brown Hair r u on viddy yet? I'm documenting my brown to Sin City blonde!" she tweeted on Thursday and included a link to a video showing her last hurrah as a brunette.
She followed that up with "Stage 1 -ok it doesn't look that different but it's a process" and snapped a pic of her sporting sexy tousled hair that indeed didn't look too far off from her original shade.

Two days later, Alba got dow! n to business, writing, "Stage 2 of #SinCity2 Nancy hair," and attaching a pic of her grinning as her fabulously blonde 'do gets primped.
An hour later, she was ready to show off the final product, even noting how the look stays true to her, um, raw and real character: "She got roots that Nancy #sincity2."
