Whos The More Delicious Pop Of Color At The Golden Globes: Jennifer Lawrence Vs Jessica Alba

These two stunning ladies are nothing short of a tangerine dream. Were talking about Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Alba, who both wore shades of orange, albeit in different avatars, providing welcome pops of color on the Golden Globes red carpet last night. Jennifer went for a deeper shade of vermilion with her strapless, ball-gown inspired Christian Dior Fall 2012 couture number. Itsdeceptivelysimple but the reason it works to beautifully, other than the color and how it offsets her brunette hair and creamy skin, is how amazingly structured it is. Theres not an ounce of fabric thats out of place and the construction of the bodice is a masterpiece and cut beautifully. We love the tiny retro feature of it being cinched at her tiny waist, but they made that aspect contemporary by the use of a metallic belt. Romantic and all-class, this ones worthy of applause.
Jessica on the other hand, went for a softer shade of coral with her Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013 gown. We love the way it drapes and folds in a manner thats not fussy at all, and the fact that shes matched her lipstick to the shade of the gown is a beautiful touch! . That amazing necklace you see is by Harry Winston and were in awe of it. Thats the kind of ice you wear when you know youre bringing it. The whimsy of her Roger Vivier Pochette Prisme Poodle clutch is a little indulgence most may disagree with, but its youthful and fresh, and we totally approve. And now to decide between Jennifer and Jessica. Were not going there. Perhaps you can and tell us who you prefer?
