Jessica Alba Gets Burlesque Tips From Dita Von Teese?

Jessica Alba reprises her role as Nancy Callahan in 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For', which is a follow up to the 2005 movie. This time Nancy has moved on from being a stripper and is a burlesque dancer and the actress was reportedly keen to make her portrayal believable by picking up as many first hand tips as she could.

"Jess secretly worked with Dita Von Teese and other burlesque experts to deliver an incredible performance," a source told National Enquirer.

"Everyone who's seen the number has been super impressed. Jessica is one of the sexiest women in Hollywood, so it's not hard to believe that she'd do an amazing job."

The 31-year-old actress was apparently behind Nancy's transition in the upcoming release, which is due to hit screens in 2013.

Jessica and her husband Cash Warren are parents to young daughters Honor and Haven and the actress is keen for the tots to look up to her when they are older. She hopes that her chaqracter's transition from stripper to burlesque dancer will help.

"She wanted [Nancy] to be more developed and refined," the insider explained. "Jessica has two little girls and wants to set a good example."

'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' also stars Mickey Rourke, Michael Madsen, Rosario Dawson, Clive Owen and Jamie Chung. The film is scheduled for release in October 2013.
